• I am busy with the second part of the Bible Training Course. It is really tricky to create a course from scratch custom made for Makhuas. During the first training block, I discovered a number of things they desperately need to be equipped with and trained for, that were not even part of my original course planning. I am trying to incorporate that into the second part.
• Domingos and the sound recording team could not go South last year to initiate the audio recordings of the Old Testament due to the person in charge of the studio being quite ill. We trust that they will be able to go around May of this year.
• Domingos and I are (as always) in contact regularly and we are really trying to follow up and encourage the students that came for the training. It is hard, since only one of them has a smartphone, but we are finding ways to do it.
• Lord willing, I will go to Muapula from 10 April this year to teach the second part of the training.
• Most of you know about the invitation to visit Muapula next June/July as part of the festivities celebrating 30 years of mission work in Niassa, Mozambique. You can still join us if you let me know in the next few weeks.
• Soon I hope to do these updates also on short YouTube clips, where I can share more in a shorter time than it will take you to read this update!

• Pray for all the preparation that goes into the course. It might not sound exciting or a big deal, but it is CRITICALLY important for equipping the Makhuas to make a difference for the Lord in Niassa!  
• Continue to pray that God Himself will facilitate the distribution as well as the appetite for the Makhua Bible in Niassa. I hope to make a short YouTube clip some time to explain why this distribution is against almost all the odds.
• Continue to pray for those dear eleven students.
• Pray for the planned visit in June for the celebration of 30 years of grace in Niassa.
